【Indications for Andractim Dihydrotestosterone】

1. Treatment of gynecomastia, micropenis, hypogonadism, reduced catabolism (e.g., weight loss due to AIDS), lichen sclerosus in women, and male contraception.

2. Testosterone gel is an androgen used for replacement therapy in adult men with endogenous testosterone deficiency or related conditions:

● Primary hypogonadism (congenital or acquired) – cryptorchidism, bilateral torsion, orchitis, orchiectomy syndrome, testicular failure due to orchiectomy. ● Klinefelter syndrome, chemotherapy, alcohol or heavy metal poisoning. These men typically have low serum testosterone levels and elevated gonadotropin (FSH, LH) levels.

● Hypogonadotropinemia (congenital or acquired) – idiopathic gonadotropin or luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) deficiency or pituitary-hypothalamic damage caused by tumors, trauma, or radiation therapy. These men have low serum testosterone levels, but gonadotropin levels are within the normal or lower range.

【Contraindications for Andractim Dihydrotestosterone】

1. Testosterone gel is contraindicated in men with breast cancer or known or suspected prostate cancer.

2. Testosterone gel is contraindicated in women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, or who are breastfeeding. Use of testosterone gel in pregnant women may harm the fetus.

Testosterone gel may cause serious adverse reactions in nursing infants. Exposure of the fetus or a urinating infant to androgens may lead to varying degrees of masculinization. Potentially pregnant women or those using testosterone gel should be aware of the potential for testosterone transfer in men treated with testosterone gel. If a pregnant woman is exposed to testosterone gel, she should be informed of the potential harm to the fetus.

【Andractim Dihydrotestosterone Drug Interactions】

1. Insulin

Patients treated with androgens may experience changes in insulin sensitivity or glycemic control. In diabetic patients, the metabolic effects of androgens may affect glycemia, thus affecting insulin requirements.

2. Oral Anticoagulants

Androgens can cause changes in anticoagulant activity. More frequent monitoring of INR and prothrombin time is recommended in patients taking anticoagulants, especially at the start and end of androgen therapy.

3. Glucocorticoids

Concomitant use of testosterone with adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) or corticosteroids may lead to increased fluid retention and should be carefully monitored, especially in patients with heart, kidney, or liver disease.

【Andractim (Dihydrotestosterone) Usage and Dosage】

Andractim 2.5% Gel: For topical application, once daily (Children: noticeable effects in 15 days; Adults: noticeable effects in 25 days).

Generally, 12 tubes are sufficient!

1 tube: Enough for 16 days

2 tubes: Enough for 32 days

4 tubes: Enough for 64 days

【Andractim (Dihydrotestosterone) Usage Instructions】

Andractim 2.5% gel is for external use only. Apply to the desired skin area after washing. Allow the gel to dry for approximately five minutes before dressing.

Put on gloves.

Gently squeeze the gel onto the mark shown on the lamination information sheet – follow the instructions on the dispensing label.

Distribute evenly over the desired area.

Leave for five minutes.

Wipe the lamination information sheet with a damp paper towel to prepare for the next dose. Remove gloves and wash with warm soapy water to prepare for the next dose.

Note: Dihydrotestosterone 2.5% gel should not be applied to any broken skin.
